Dèbid has developed an open system, fully digital and endowed with better performance than most of the competitor products. The system is ready for integration with the customer's IT systems, supplies high added value functionalities by means of the use of image to complement other formats of information.

The PHVG video recorder with Ethernet input, engine of the system, offers important benefits over its competitors, having analog inputs. 




  • Reduced cost, as hardware power is focused on recording, while image processing is performed at the cameras. Hybrid recorders have an important cost component in the input analogue cards and CPU power dedicated to signal processing.
  •  A single NVR can record up to 250 cameras while hybrid recorders are usually limited to 16 or 32.
  • NVR’s are stackable; the system manages the available hardware and allocates cameras to NVRs. This allows variable redundancy levels, or fault tolerance, depending on the stacked units.
  • Layer architecture accepting from a single camera connection to a virtually unlimited number of them in diverse geographic locations. 

Dèbid has reached innovation in terms of system performance:

  • Variable recording speed, controlled by the level of activity detected at the cameras. Users can define several movement windows with different sensitivity thresholds. When detecting movement, recording is performed at high speed (up to 25 ips, images per second), while on idle situations recording speed can decrease down to a few images per second.
  • Integration with Fire Alarm or Intrusion Detection systems. On-screen viewing of received alarms, being possible to define cameras or groups of cameras associated to each alarm.
  • Integration with other control or event detection systems through the IP network (HTTP, FTP, SNMP, etc.). 



  • Event presentation and management.
  • Automatic positioning of PTZ cameras in answer to events (system or external), or in programmed fashion.
  • Cameras power supply under poE (power over Ethernet) standard, using a single 4-pair UTP cable to transmit signals and power the camera, with the associated savings in electrical infrastructure and maintenance over using analogue cameras.
